West End Ottawa Furniture & Staging

Polanco Home Furniture & Interior Decor Solutions had the opportunity to provide custom furniture and decor consultation for this Pinecrest area home in Ottawa, ON. The home, staged for real estate sale, is a classic style. Polanco expert Mandy Renfrew chose pieces for this home by creating a mix of contemporary and classic styles.

The living room features two custom made, Melrose love seats from Canadian furniture supplier Marcantonio Designs. The love seats are upholstered in grey linen fabric from Robert Allen Fabrics, adding elegance and design to a lighter painted room. Accented with the custom love seats is a white painted contemporary coffee table from Handstone as well as white painted and distressed pedestal end tables from Torre & Tagus. The living room space is accessorized with a Robert Abbey table lamp, vases from Torre and Tagus, mirrored tray from Arteriors Home, a white rug from Woven Reflections, and a solid wood hand painted cream mirror from Camlen Furniture.

In the dining room, Mandy selected the round Fulford dining table from Camlen Furniture in a dark stain to ground the space. The dining chairs paired with the table are the Louis from Marcantonio Designs. A solid beech wood chair from Italy, painted in a fresh white Benjamin Moore paint colour, custom made in white leather and accented with pewter nail heads.  The dark stain on the table offers a pleasant contrast from the white chairs. White accessories from Torre & Tagus compliment the chairs and create flow between the dining room and the living room.  Soft white accessories were placed on the mantle in front of the original artwork from Lisa DiRocco, allowing the colour in the art to add vibrance and design to the room, as well as bringing the space together.

In the bedroom, a green, custom upholstered bed from Palette Furniture was selected in Emerald green antique velvet fabric accented with silver nail heads. Handstone’s painted  bed side table in Benjamin Moore decorator’s white paint was placed to compliment the bold presence of the bed. The white acrylic table lamp was placed on the side table to offer soft white lighting in the bedroom.  Mandy chose to dress the bed in various shades of white, creating freshness and flow with the decor throughout the home.
