Polanco Home Furniture & Interior Decor Solutions is excited to showcase this gorgeous, classic contemporary home located in Cornwall, ON. Close to the St Lawrence River in the prestigious Place St. Laurent, this stunning 5 bedroom home embodies tasteful design and elegance. The open-concept interior is both spacious and inviting. Our decor expert Mandy Renfrew provided furniture and decor for the beautiful space! This was a particularly special project for Mandy, since the homeowners are dear friends of hers!
The living room, dining room and kitchen are all connected in a fully open-concept design. The rich hue of the hardwood floor provides the perfect foundation for elegant furniture. Mandy wanted to connect the three spaces, while still creating subtle divisions throughout. In the living room, Mandy selected a custom navy blue Cosmina sofa with a higher back to help provide a subtle division between the living and dining spaces. She paired the sofa with a Merlot recliner in matching leather. Two Emerson chairs were introduced in a soft grey velvet, complementing the slate grey, maple TV unit and round coffee table, bringing the space together. The darker tones of the furniture pieces allow for a beautiful contrast against the lighter coloured walls. Mandy accented the living room with grey, high gloss accessories and created additional depth with a Damask pattern ottoman and toss cushions.
In the dining room, Mandy created a tone on tone look between the white painted dining table and soft, greyish white leather Martin dining chairs. She added our favourite oval Bling fixture above the table, in shiny silver to catch and excite the eye from anywhere in the space. Leading to the kitchen, Mandy continued the grand feel provided by the Bling with two Cole pendant fixtures in shiny silver, adding another reflective glimmer to the space. The lights serve as a gorgeous contrast against the white painted cabinets and charcoal grey hood fan.
This beautiful estate home, located in the absolutely stunning neighbourhood of Place St. Laurent, provides as an incredible backdrop for Mandy’s furniture and decor selection. The open-concept lower level allows for a panoramic feel as you walk into the home, with a clear view of Mandy’s gorgeous pieces.
