Featured Supplier: Marcantonio Designs

Polanco Home Furniture & Interior Decor Solutions is proud to introduce a new blog feature showcasing our amazing partners. Every month we will be selecting a feature partner to spotlight and show you why we carry and support their products. We work with great partners, most of which are actually other Canadian companies.

This month, we’re showcasing Marcantonio Designs. Marcantonio is a Toronto based company who manufactures sofas, sectionals, upholstered beds, dining chairs, occasional chairs and ottomans. Many, if not all of their pieces can be customized to fit your style and space.

From the Marcantonio Designs website:

After a 40-year career in furniture manufacturing industry, Joe Marcantonio decided that it was time for a change. Backed by his family and a lifetime of experience, the charismatic entrepreneur set outto make his own mark on the furniture industry.

Marcantonio Designs emerged in 2005 with a strong case of pride and enthusiasm. That same passion is what continues to fuel the company’s skilled designers and craftsmen. Quality materials, meticulous attention to detail, and a flare for creativity all work together to set Marcantonio Designs apart from the competition.

Real people and real homes inspire our designs. Comfort and durability is always top of mind when crafting a piece of furniture that is both stylish and functional for modern living.

Our team has a keen eye for artistic furniture. We scout out design trends from around the world and adapt them to fit our customer’s needs. Modern or casual, classic or transitional, modular ormotion – find the perfect look and function for any room.

Choose from a selection of our existing styles, or work with our talented design team to build a one-of-a-kind custom creation.

Each piece of furniture is handcrafted and bench-made, not mass-produced. Our skilled artisans study each tanned hide and mark it by hand to highlight only the most beautiful sections.

We build our own hardwood frames with real Canadian maple. Extra steps go into the construction of each frame as we glue, staple, screw, double dowel, and use corner blocks to strengthen the joints.

Countless “sit tests” are performed to ensure that each piece is just as comfortable as it is stylish. The final product is a rare combination of beauty and function.
