Contemporary Home, Westboro Village

This stunning newly-built, semi-detached home is located in the heart of Westboro Village in Ottawa. Polanco Home Furniture and Interior Decor Solutions was hired by real estate agent, Nick Kyte, of Coldwell Banker, to stage this home for sale. Polanco Home Furniture provided design consulting services to chose the best furnishings to place in the home that suited the style and existing fittings of the house. Polanco ensured to select neutral furniture pieces, to refrain from drawing attention away from the features of the home.

Polanco’s aim was to create a open concept living space ideal for entertaining purposes. Versatile furniture pieces, such as the two Italian ghost chairs, were included for this reason. Minimal decoration and rooms with clearly defined purposes help prospective buyers imagine themselves living there.

As clients used some of their existing furniture, Polanco added home accents to ensure a cohesive look was achieved throughout the home. Design consultant, Mandy Renfrew, provided her services to arrange these home decor accents. Additional accessories were added to rooms such as bathrooms and front entrances to create a complete look.
