Upstream Ottawa Announces its 10th Charity Gala Shining a Light on Community Mental Health Services
This year’s Gala theme is “Shining a Light on Community Mental Health Services”. Proceeds will benefit programs to enhance existing services and to expand services to as many clients as clinically possible in response to increased demand. “Our ability to provide highly individualized recovery-oriented supports are dependent upon the generosity of the community”. (Bo Turpin, Director of Programming and Clinical Support).
Upstream Ottawa Mental Health Community Support deeply appreciates the Title Sponsorship of Polanco Home Furniture and Interior Décor Solutions in Westboro, a three-time winner of the “Top Furniture Retailer Award”.
Since 1985 Upstream Ottawa has been providing affordable housing options and a range of community based critical support services to persons with persistent mental illness and has maintained a very high level of client/family satisfaction. Thousands of people have been touched by Upstream over the years. Upstream Ottawa successfully merges Provincially- funded Intensive Case Management Supports with privately sustained services.
As a grass roots organization Upstream owes a great part of its success to generous community donors. Thank you Mandy and Steve Renfrew (owners of Polanco) for helping to Shine a Light on Community Mental Health!
Your dedication to your business and to the community are inspiring. Together we are stronger.
